Privacy notice

This notice explains what the careweave.org website collects, why, where it is kept, and how to see or delete your information. CareWeave, a nonprofit in formation, is responsible for it.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the public website at careweave.org. It does not cover the CareWeave portal at portal.careweave.org, which is covered separately. The website itself holds no medical records.
What the form collects
The form on the homepage collects:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give one
- your role
- the number of providers involved, if you choose to say
- what takes the most time today, if you choose to say
- a message, if you choose to write one
- your consent to be contacted
We ask you not to include medical details in the message box.
What is collected automatically
When you send the form, we do not store your raw IP address. We store only a salted hash of it, which we use to limit abuse. We also store your browser's user-agent string.
How we use your information
We use it only to reply to you and to plan CareWeave. We never sell it. We never share it, except with the service providers listed below.
Where it is kept and who handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores form submissions in its Workers and D1 database, in its Eastern North America region. Cloudflare also processes request data, such as IP addresses, to serve the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Email. Each submission is also emailed to the founder's inbox.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form for bots. It processes browser signals under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts supplies the Inter font. Google receives your IP address when the font loads, under Google's privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics and ads
CareWeave sets no cookies of its own. We run no analytics and no ads.
How long we keep it
We keep each submission for up to 2 years from the day you send it. A daily job then deletes it automatically. We delete it sooner if you ask.
See or delete your information
To see or delete your information, send the form again. Write "Please send me my information" or "Please delete my information" in the message box, and use the same email address you used before.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, we post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
